Customers connected to the Middleton cable system went offline just before 8am due to an issue at a local property. This is the same issue that caused an outage roughly two weeks ago for the same connections. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible today, and have been working on a long-term solution since the last incident.
This only affects customers connected to the older cable system in town, not the newer cable system equipment or wireless customers in the area.
This was resolved just after 4pm. This is not a problem with our network or hardware, rather an issue with a local property owner. We apologize for this issue and are actively working to prevent this issue in the future.
